In my real life, I am a nurse case manager for children with special health care needs. Being a nurse and working with kids is a calling, is at the core of who I am and also pays the bills. This I do for love, for therapy at the end of a long day. It is my creative outlet. I try to remember not to take the blessings life gives me for granted. A roof over my head, food on my table, health, the love of family and friends. I believe it is important to give something back. Not more than can be afforded, spiritually or financially, but something. I began this business with the goal of giving part of it back. I choose various charities to donate a percentage of sales to. $226.76 donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in the fight against breast cancer.
